Don Quintín Ortega Tinto

This amazing blend of Tempranillo and old vine Garnacha (100 year old to be exact), spends 19 months in American and French oak barrels and is a beautiful example of the wonderful wine coming out of Tudelila in Rioja, Spain. Candied fruit, balsamic notes and minerals in the nose lead to big red and dark fruit intensity on the palate followed by elegant persistent sweet tannins. Nothing not to like here.  Only 4, 242 bottles made.
